Helsinki Cooler vol. 2 presents insights into the multifaceted soundscape of Finnish electronica and nu jazz. The first volume of our Helsinki Cooler compilation series was a tribute to the flourishing forms of jazz flavoured electronica from already established Finnish artists, while the emphasis of Cooler vol. 2 is on presenting fresh stuff from the new generation. It's a tribute to the spirit of jazz, the spirit of openness.
This compilation highlights the personality of the new Cymbidium Records line-up: Saine, Happy-Go-Lucky and Sora - each creating their unique sound. Other artists on this compilation include Accu and Headphonics of Exogenic Music Group alongside Slow of Plastinka, Ran and D Fast.
The concept of Helsinki Cooler is about music with an ear for the past, an eye for the future and a heart for the flow. It´s about being inspired by Helsinki and loving every bit of it. It´s all in the mix.
